| Objective: To systematically investigate the practical application value of early Pediatric Tuina in the health management of high-risk infants and provide theoretical basis and practical reference for its promotion in the field of pediatric rehabilitation11. Methods: This study enrolled 100 high-risk infants who were admitted to the High-risk Infant Health Clinic of the Neonatology Department, Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital, from May 2023 to May 2024. The infants were randomly allocated to a treatment group (n = 50) or a control group (n = 50) according to a random number table. The control group received routine intervention, and the treatment group received Pediatric Tuina (including tonifying Spleen Meridian, tonifying kidney Meridian, abdominal massage ,pinching the spine, kneading Zusanli ) in addition to routine intervention. Observation indices included growth and development, sleep status, family compliance, and incidence of sequelae. Results: After the intervention, the increases in growth and developmental indicators at each follow-up stage were significantly greater in the treatment group than in the control group, with statistically significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). The average sleep duration and various sleep indicators in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the treatment group demonstrated a significantly higher level of family compliance, with rates of 98% and 88%, respectively(P<0.05). The mean frequency of sequelae was significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Early Pediatric Tuina intervention has a positive effect on promoting the growth and development quality and sleep quality of high-risk infants19, can improve family compliance, and reduce the incidence of sequelae, possessing important clinical application value. |
