Purpose:To observe the clinical effect of modified Wuling powder in the treatment of refractory chronic pharyngitis.Methods:Sixty patients with refractory chronic pharyngitis were randomly and single-blind evenly divided into 2 groups. the observation group was treated with modified Wuling Powder, and the control group was given
Cydiodine buccal tablets, with 7 days as one course of treatment and 2 consecutive courses of treatment.The clinical efficacy and CRF scores of the two groups were compared before treatment, after 7 days of medication, after 14 days of medication and after 14 days of discontinuation.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group patients was significantly higher than that of the control group at 14 days after treatment and 14 days after drug withdrawal, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The discomfort in the throat (foreign body sensation, adhesion sensation, and itching) of patients in the observation group was significantly improved, and examination showed significant improvement in pharyngeal mucosal congestion, all of which were better than the control group (P<0.05). The controversy in the throat (foreign body sensing, adhesion sensing, and interviewing) of the observation group patients was significantly improved, and the examination showed that the controversy of the pharmaceutical mucosa was also significantly improved, all better than the control group (P<0.05).The patients in the observation group experienced significant improvement in symptoms such as pharyngeal foreign body sensation, dryness, itchiness, pain, and sticky mucus, as well as significant improvement in examination signs, all of which were superior to the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The modified Wuling Powder has significant therapeutic effects on refractory chronic pharyngitis(spleen deficiency and dampness excess type), is safe, reliable, economical and practical, and is worthy of clinical promotion. |
