Objective To investigate the effect of predictive nursing based on group management model in invalids (abdominal surgery) under general anesthesia. Methods One hundred and twelve invalids(abdominal surgery) under general anaesthesia in our hospital between March 2021 and March 2023 were selected, and grouped using random number table method, each with 56 cases. Control group was given routine care interventions, based on this, study group was given predictive nursing based on group management model. Then the resting and awakening related surgical indicators, awakening quality, incidence of adverse events during the awakening period, quality of postoperative recovery and satisfaction with care were compared between groups. Results Heart rate, diastolic BP and systolic blood pressure increased during the waking period, and the heart rate and BP fluctuations in the study group were less than those in the control group (P<0.05). Study group scored higher than control group on consciousness, respiration, circulation, oxygenation, and activity dimensions (P<0.05). Study group reported a lower incidence rate of adverse events during the awakening period compared to control group (5.36% vs 17.86%, P<0.05). The scores of physical comfort, psychological support, physical independence, pain, and emotional state were higher in study group than in control group (P<0.05). No statistical difference was reported between two groups in satisfaction with care (P>0.05). Conclusion Application of predictive nursing based on group management model in invalids undergoing abdominal surgery under general anesthesia can effectively improve the quality of awakening and postoperative recovery, and reduce the incidence of adverse events, which is worthy of promotion in the clinic. |
