Objective To explore the effect of venous thrombosis formula combined with moxibustion therapy on prevention of deep venous thrombosis of lower limbs after knee replacement. Methods A total of 93 patients with deep vein thrombosis of lower limbs after knee replacement were included in the study and divided into control group and observation group. The grouping method was random number table method. Patients in the control group (46 cases) were given routine postoperative care, while patients in the observation group (47 cases) were given venous thrombosis prescription combined with moxibustion therapy on the basis of routine intervention for 14 days. The incidence of deep vein thrombosis in the lower extremities of the patients, changes in the total score of TCM syndromes before and after the intervention, changes in coagulation function indicators, inflammatory factor indicators, changes in the circumference of the affected thigh and calf, postoperative pain score (visual analogue pain scale, VAS) at 3d and 7d, and adverse reactions. Results The rate of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis was 19.57% in control group and 4.26% in observation group (p < 0.05). Before intervention, the total score of TCM syndromes, activated partial thrombin time (APTT) and thrombin time (TT), fibrinogen (FIB), D-dimer (D-D) and other coagulation function indexes were compared with inflammatory factors such as C-reactive protein (CRP), and the circumference of the affected thigh and calf in the two groups, p > 0.05. After intervention, the total TCM syndrome score, TT, APTT, FIB, D-D, CRP, the circumference of thigh and calf on the affected side were improved in both groups, and the observation group was better than the control group (p < 0.05). The VAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at 3d and 7d after surgery, p < 0.05; No serious adverse reactions were observed in both groups. Conclusion Venous Xuanxuan prescription combined with moxibustion therapy can reduce the incidence of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis after knee replacement, and the patients recovered well after surgery, which is worthy of application. |
