Abstract: Objective: To observe the correlation between the Activity of Daily Living (ADL) score and blood lipid level in cerebral apoplexy patients with Shoulder-Hand Syndrome (SHS), to analyze and explore its internal relationship. Methods: 116 patients with shoulder hand syndrome after stroke admitted to the hospital from August 2016 to February 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. The levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL) and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) were measured six months after the above patients received standard lipid-lowering treatment. The correlation between ADL score and the levels of TG, TC, HDL, LDL and VLDL was analyzed. According to the principle of equal condition, gender and age, SHS study group and non-SHS control group were established. Compared the differences in ADL scores and the above indicators between two groups. Result: Six months after discharge, the ADL scores of the SHS study group was significantly lower than that of the non-SHS control group (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in TC, HDL, and LDL levels between the SHS study group and the non-SHS control group (P>0.05). There were statistically significant differences in TG and VLDL levels between the two groups (P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis of ADL scores showed that the constant iterms, TG, and VLDL levels entered the model, indicated that ADL scores were negative correlated with TG and VLDL levels. Conclusion: There is a close relationship between low ADL score and poor control of blood lipid levels in patients with shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke. By restoring the activity of daily living in patients, it is helpful to regulate the blood lipid levels.
